A report that includes the company’s accounting financial statements, such as the balance sheet at the end of the fiscal year, the annual income statement, profit sharing, and distribution or explanatory notes on the entity’s results. The annual report usually also includes a letter from the president explaining the company’s performance, the composition of the board of directors, and the report of the shareholder auditors. In many cases, it also includes the opinion of external auditors.
